This group is for official communications to ARES Region 1 members including communications about:
- Nets
- Training
- Simulated Emergency Tests
- Community service events
- Other events such as official social events
In the event of an anticipated emergency or other emergency where ham radio operators may be needed provide auxiliary communications this will be the primary announcement forum.
